Project Description

Liberty Construction Group including Liberty Steel Buildings partnered with Carscadden Stokes McDonald Architects in the design-build of the new Ladner Multi-Sports Court cover for the City of Delta. Two striking designs were presented to the city, and the winning design highlights ultra modern angular solid and translucent cladding elements. The project scope of work included civil infrastructure and site works, a new building foundation, interior lighting, electrical upgrades, along with an integral roof drainage system, and dasher board paint refreshment.

The Liberty Steel Team’s scope of work included the supply and installation of the structural steel and building envelope (roofing/ cladding). Liberty’s complete scope was delivered within the required time frame and within their accepted bid price.

The Ladner Multi-Sports Court Project in Delta, BC features a striking colourful aesthetic that incorporates elements of natural daylighting. The building has been designed to allow for year round public and private sports club use with protection from the elements. This new cover comes complete with the ability for complete enclosure of the building in the future.
